Taylor Swift, a 19 years oLd girl, can prOve that she caN sing cOuntry sOngs witHout maKing us feeL its tOo oLd for teens.. Try tO hear Love Story. The caTchy lyrics and the unique melody make the song easy to be understood even for people who aren't too good in english.. Taylor Swift managed to stay on the Billboard album chart for four consecutive weeks with her album Fearless that has been sold about 330,000 pieces!! It's a remarkable achievement for country album (in case you don't know =p)
So, try and listen to it and you will be enthralled!! =)

    I actually grew up listening to country music. Whenever my family went on a road trip or traveled anywhere in a car, we played Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire (two famous country singers) tapes.

    So country music isn't just for old people. There are artists like Taylor Swift, Rascall Flatts, and Carrie Underwood who are making country music more mainstream and accessible to younger audiences.

    i hate youtube here since the connection here is not as good as another countries...

    well, IMO, most of the country music are for old people...
    I haven't heard any good country music that fits me :<

    and actually since there are so many newcomer country singer (who are teens^^), people should change their opinion about country music, right? hehe..
    But in Indonesia, people don't really like country music.. We prefer pop, rock, and jazz.. So there are no new country singer especially teens, because they think that there's noone who likes country music..

    I agree that she brings youth into country music
    I love Carrie Underwood and Kristy Lee Cook as well...

    Country music is a type of music that originated in the Southern United States. The singers usually sing with what we call a "twang." It is a type of accent that is specific to the South and rural areas.

    Country music lyrics tell stories about life, love, and family.
